97 gt turbo question

im looking at a turbo kit for my stang and was wondering what kinda boost you could run with stock internals

It depends on how you plan to drive it,, what type and how big of an intercooler, and also its not the boost thats the problem, its how much power you make, Im right at 400 with everything stock, some guys are in the 450 range, seen plenty thats running 500 RW with stock stuff too, but I have also seen 350 RW and things go boom, gottttttaaaa have a good tune and plenty of fuel.

Also depending on how many miles is on your motor, how it has been treated in the past.

Im running 12psi with air to water cooler, but I dont run the engine all the way out, rev limiter is set at 5600.
