supercharger question

Hey guys just wondering I am running a vortech v2 supercharger and an air to air after cooler. What is the smallest pully I can put on my 2v gt. There's no doubt I am losing some boost though the cooler, and the pully that's on there now is stalk it has low miles and is only run in the summer, I am adding 4.10 gears this monday as well. Other then that all the normal stuff is done, long tube headers, high flow cats x pipes cat back exhaust, plenum, etc etc etc.

On an off note does anyone know where a good site is to have a look at dropping a 5.4 l in. I am thinking of picking up a low mile 5.4 this winter, working on it and dropping it in before next summer, just want to get a handle on what i am getting my self into.

LOL and sence I am here, anyone running trick flow heads on a boosted car yet? Just looking for some input on that set up as well.

4.10s may be a bit much for a boosted motor.

but check out this site

they got em from 3.0 inches to 1.9 inches for my charger

Vortech has a 2.6 or 2.8 I think for a 6 rib setup, but you will get belt slippage, they dont recommend going lower then 3in with a 6 rib set up, I run a 3.1 and it slipped a little bit, since then I added a 15% overdrive crank pulley, that helped with boost and also helped with the belt slipping.

I cant remember who it is that makes it but there is a company that makes pulleys for Vortechs that have a carbide finish, not supposed to hurt the belt and no slipping. You will have to google that though..
