Question What oil on heavily modified stang?

ok so today i finally get my 1st oil change with all the parts i have on the car, my question is what oil is best for me to use?? i have stage 2 heads fully built stage 2 cams, and all the other minor bolt ons. any recommendations? i need all the advice i can get, esp that im going to race acouple of my buddies tonight and i wanna be at full potencial

same as stock. 5w20 full synthetic as long as the motor is broken in.

yea the motor is broken in, so u think full synthetic is better? mobil 1?

quick questiong, does changing to the new oil really make the car perform better?

well depends what you mean by perform better. if you don't do your scheduled maintenance it will definitely perform worse. and i would definitely run full synthetic. i run mobil 1 but there is so much controversy on which brand to use. i wouldn't worry abotu it as long as it's indeed a FULL synthetic.

its not in my head i personally dont think the car will perform better i was just asking cuz i know some ppl change there oils alot becuase of it and ok full synthetic it is

I only run fully synthetic in all my vehicles. No residue in the engines even over 120k miles.

I have run it in my 2000 Chevy P/U since about 50k miles and it looks new inside the valve covers still at 113k miles.

MY supercharged 2000 Mustang GT had 125k miles on it when I sold it and inside the valve covers was like new. The car had 9# of boost for over 50k miles and the guy that bought it now has over 134k miles on it and the valve covers and oil pan have never been off the car. :shiny: I even run the stuff in my lawn mowers. LOL

Mobil 1 5W20 or 5W30.
