help with 1997 Mustang running like crap

ok i am having a problem with a bone stock 97 gt conv i just bought, i have a missfire problem,at first i thought it was the plug/wires, so i bought new plugs with 9mm ford racing wires, nothing changed....
then i pulled codes got a p0304 (missfire on cyl 4) sure enough i pulled the plug off injector with no change,i thought maybe it could be the i switched coils with left and right.and still #4 cyl no change with with idle with injector disonnected, there is spark out of the coil in the # 4 plug, i pulled the plug with also no change.i thought could be injector so i put in a old injector from my 95 also no change, so unless both coils or both injectors have excactly the same problem im lost??? it seems to smooth out a little when you drive it but at idle it idles like a dragster and at steady speeds it bucks here and there. and seems to be way down on power????????? what do i check next? i am still driving the car but i need it fixed its drinking alot more fuel then it should
