2001 Mustang GT wont build fuel pressure when hot?

i have a focus pump and i did the check valve removed as my tuner requested. when the car is cold it builds pressure no problem but when the car is warm it only has 10-20 psi if that and then when it u crank it over it slowly comes up but once its running its fine.

could anyone give some insight on this or has no one heard of this

Thanks Bob

Is it any better if you manually prime it when hot by cycling the key a few times prior to cranking it?
