Question just curious on pi

just wondering if anyone knows the differences in the pi head other than combustion chambers and bolt patterns

Read up on this may help you more. Also the ports on intake and heads are different between the two.

Bolt pattern is the same, pi heads have a smaller chamber, but I'm not sure how much. All around the pi is a better head, but the trickflows are badass.

NPI are actually capable of out flowing PI heads but in stock form yes the PI heads are better!
