Post 2000 mustang gt engine swap questions

I have a 2000 4.6 gt I have been given a 2009 mustang cobra engine and transmission I blew the 4.6 engine I had can I do this swap and how much or is it worth doing?

Welcome to AFM! Let me move this to the 4.6 section for you and see if any other members have input on that. Anything is possible depending on how much money you want to spend lol.

You will need a 2009 harness + pcm + exhaust
Probably a hood and a load of $.

Lets see if someone has done this swap, i bet it wont be cheap.

Might be better if you sell or exchange it for another engine+trans.

The 2011 crate engine sells NEW for $20,000 !! so that 2009 could be a good source for money for a less expensive/viable project.

Just found this...it is doable....but still you will need to cash money for other parts, again, hood, headers?.....
