other than it being on Ebay, these are very nice blowers, and with a well built setup could easily get over 400hp.

Well I bought a brand new polished Vortech head unit on Ebay? Got a very good deal on it! I've had some bad experiences too, I got screwed on a set of 05 Cobra revision heads that were supposed to be "New Takeoffs!" Just check the sellers feedback plus big companies like Summit etc.. have Ebay stores

'05 Cobra?

Guessing it was a typo, but I did one time meet a guy with a really bitchin' ride and he swore up and down it was a 2000 Cobra. I informed him that I was not aware of any being made during that particular year aside from the 500 or so which were shipped to Australia, according to Ford and various automotive publications.... He said "yep I know, but this one is a 2000..." Anyway I wasn't going to sit and argue with the guy or ask to see his door tag and registration but I still left the conversation feeling like he was somehow full of sh!t or just plain confused.

And I don't really know what made me think of that right now but I felt compelled to share. Cool story huh?

Yeah, you should make a book out of that or something. :hihi:
Have you ever seen the Mustangs sold in Australia? They're all ****** up lookin with the headlights. Google it.

I bought my S/C on eBay. It was drop-shipped straight from Vortech. Not everything on eBay is sh*t.

Hey, hit the nail on the head, lol. I'm actually balls deep in writing a book, more of a memoir really..... well actually it's just so far 212 pages of incoherent rambling about everything from Bob Dole's Viagra commercial appearance to Axl Rose's 1991-93 Use Your Illusion World Tour wardrobe, and also an in depth chapter regarding my thoughts on the War of 1812 and it's echoed effects on today's global economy. I'll FedEx you a personalized copy when I get published, but I will warn you now that you will need a good supply of weed handy and even then it will be nearly unbearable to read.

And yeah I've seen the Australian cars with the integrated extra set of fog/headlights. Don't think I'll be doing that mod.

The third cylinder head redesign for the 03/04 castings are referred to as the 05 Revisions, the cooling passages for cylinder #7+#8 were addressed and the spark plug threads were increased to 9 versus 4.
These are the heads that presently sit atop Ford's Remanufactured 4V Iron longblock that comes with a 1 year 12K miles warranty
And your correct your not gonna find a 2000 Cobra in the states, just the Cobra R

Yeah those Aussie 'stangs look kinda weird. I'd take a Falcon any day though.
