windshileld wiper and power window

hi,
I have an issue with the windshileld wiper and power window (in automatic mode) on my GT 01. when wiper works, power window works fine but if wiper stops working, power window will stop as well.

I tried replacing both fuses but didnt work...any ideas will be really appreciated ...

P.S. power window works fine when holding the button...the issue with the power window is when in automatic (when pushing the button just once)

There is a BCM under the dash that controls most of the interior electrical devices, and just happens to control the wipers and the power windows. so that may be a good place to start.

+1 on above. It's called the GEM.

Another option is to check the ground behind the center console. It's shared with a number of devices including the cluster, GEM, and radio. It's frequently messed up during a radio install.

Yeah, I've seen it referred to as both GEM and BCM in the documentation, but it's mounted right beside/above the fuse panel on the driver's side. It's not exactly fun to get to either.
