slight surging issue....no ideas

2004 GT, 31000 miles. Problem that i'm having is when I go through gears between 1800-3000 rpms I have a surge or hesitation, slight, that I can feel but it isn't bad. But I also cruise in that rpm range and can feel this hesitation as well. The car put down 295 at the wheels on a dyno that reads low so that seems normal as far as power goes for the mods I have. My tuner mentioned he thought it might be the msd cop's because they have seen those problems before. He also mentioned that part of it was the cams. I have never had a cammed modular car so if this is normal then that is great but do others have the same driving manners from their modded cars? once above 3k it is smooth as silk and just rips. You can actually the rpm range i describe in my dyno sheet, the torque curve flattens out between 2-3000rpms and then shoots for the moon. any ideas?

Just got the car back from the tuner. I just bought this car and realized the tune etc was bad among a couple of other things. Tuner retuned car, redid all exhaust gaskets due to leak and also put in ngk tr6's for me....a list of mods are

patriot stage II heads
comp 270xe cams
professional products lower
accufab upper with spacer
42lb injectors
75mm throttle body
90mm maf
areomotive fuel system
frpp shorties, off road h, flows
fenderwell cold air kit
steeda underdrives
msd cop's

Clean your EGR valve.

there seems to be alot of folks thinking the egr, maf, or cop's. Hopefully one of the three will take care of the issue. if it is the egr i will just delete that and be done with it. this is very annoying to drive with.

Don't delete it, clean it. Taking engine controls out of the equation may not make your engine run better and may run you into trouble with the green police someday.
