99 GT to 5.0 coyote!

Hey guys,
I have been working and saving up for about 8 months or so and I have not done ANYTHING to my 99 conv. GT yet. I've been saving and have almost 9K saved up so far and I'm REALLY considering a coyote swap. My plans are to completely redo a car from ground up and keep it since I'm always selling/buying. I was going to buy every bolt-on and a blower for my GT but I got really interested in this coyote swap. I haven't researched it too much since I just recently thought about doing it so that's why I'm posting here.
What will I need?
I see on AM that they sell a crate motor, ECU kit, and an oil pan for the swap. I'm 99% sure that that's not all I need. It would be too good to be true. So can anyone give me a general idea of what I need or more so where I can find them?
Or does anyone have any experiences/info about the swaps?
Thanks guys.

you need all the accessories and a transmission for a mod motor, ie T45/T56, you'd have to modify the fuel system...to me it's a bad idea to spend $10K+ for 412 hp...esp if you have "to save up" for it...then if you do ever sell it, you will recoup little

You'll need all new accessories like your water pump, alternator, wiring, pedal accessories etc. Then you'll need new headers and T56 as well.

It's a $14,026 swap when priced out on Mustang Parts & Accessories at LatemodelRestoration.com

For that price, I'd much rather go with a termi 4V.

Black with saddle 1996 Mustang GT convertible. Manual. NPI, 2v 4.6L. Full bolt-ons.

Yea I would either swap a cobra motor or get a cobra instead. I mean what burnin rock said is on the low side. What if you have problems with something? Then you'll be spending over $15,000 on this swap..

Sonic Blue 2003 Mustang GT, 75mm bbk throttle body, C&l intake plenum, bbk cai, sct handheld tuner, gt500 wheels, mach1 chin spoiler, h.i.d 8000k headlights, 3.73 ford racing gears, SR performance short shifter, SR performance subframe connectors, mac o/r h pipe, slp lm1 mufflers, and more to come!

Its a great swap, and the results are impressive, but the cost... you can get similar or better results going a different route. I'm a veteran of many swaps, no matter how thorough you are in your research there will be NBS that pop up and you have to deal with. With a coyote swap, not many have done it so you'll have a harder time finding what you might need and/or getting it running right.

This particular swap is something I would love to do, but for the price I doubt I would consider it unless I was going to run in the Coyote stock class or something like that (or shows if that is your thing), there's just much better and less costly ways of getting the same or better results.
