I hope so for your sake! Make sure your lug nuts are tight if you took them off at all and take her for a nice cruise!

It's funny you mention that. Since the car's on jacks I was going to take the wheels off and Plastidip them black.

Not sure how it'll look but what the hell.

Glad to hear you got it done and that you kept up with the updates (hate when people don't do that). Enjoy it!!

Yeah that annoys me as well.

When I'm bored at work I'll update that guide further in case anyone else attempts this in the future.

Thanks again.

Don't worry I'll be around.

One of these days after my body recovers and my mind forgets about what a pain it is to work on cars, I'll attempt to do the gears. Not sure how difficult that is but I don't know how much worse it could be.

Thanks again for all your help buddy...... really do appreciate it

Yo buddy,

Still have it up on the jack stands. Figured while it was up there I would experiment with Plasti Dipping the wheels and some of the emblems black and painted the brake calipers. Plus the weather's been crappy here so I wouldn't drive it in the rain and snow anyways.

Hoping to get it down this weekend and actually take her for a spin

Here's the front stang before I put it back on the car and the wheel caps (yes I ended up hand painting the stang in the middle) along with the wheels still drying in the basement.

Once i get everything back on the car I'll take some more.

Figure if i don't like it i can always rip all the dip off and no harm done.

We'll see once it's all on the car. A little concerned it will make it look like some road rally car that's getting ready to out run the cops when they discover my illegal moonshine operation
