defective manifold on the 2000 gt

so i heard they had a recall on the 99-04 stangs for having there manifolds crack n leak coolant.. i currently have coolant leaking in my plugs thats what i suspect the problem is and its very wet around that area. so orderd a new one but while shoping around i heard this thing online called a cooling mod cant really find one for sale and all the links on the forum didnt work. does anyone know where i could get one? are they worth it?

I think you are talking about the cooling mod for the Cobra engine,which does not apply to the 2V in our gt.

Cooling mod is for something else. If you have the leak at the coolant crossover in front, just get a stock replacement manifold that has been updated with the aluminum crossover.
