Please help 1999 mustang gt bad coolant leak

I have a 1999 mustang gt she had taken me a lot of miles and is now starting to show her age my current problem is a coolant leak you can lean down and see it from the passenger side I don't know much about cars not gonna pretend to but when the car sits the water sprays out when your driving it doesn't spray out as much which makes me think it's a small hole or a hose or something that was cause by pressure idk but from what I gathered by a guy who looked at it said that when the water is spraying out it's hitting the exhaust which is why I'm on seeing smoke on the right side coming out I have to put water in it non stop I've been restricted to my house to avoid blowing her up the guy that looked at it named some hose or valve that cost around $221 also said I need gaskets or something that will cost me another $240 and after reading a few posts I'm not sure he knows what the problem is because I've seen some say it could be my heater core hose since my heater no longer works as well not that I run heat or air while driving it to work and back to risky but I did do a quick test with the heater it blows out cold air like I said I have no idea about anything to do with a motor I probably sound like an idiot I am when it comes to stuff like this but I'm hoping someone has possibly had the same problem and can help me out thanks

If it is spraying as you describe, its likely just the radiator hoses are tired.......typical life is 5+ years. Headgaskets don't typically spray as you describe, get a real, trusted mechanic to look at it.

Welcome to AFM. Sorry to hear about your mustang, check out the 4.6l or V6 section. They have lots of help there. If you ever did smell coolant in your car or wet pasanger floor your heater core went out.

Welcome to the site!

Sorry to hear that your GT isn't working right. I am moving this to the 4.6L tech section so it will get more views and hopefully some help
