Tr-3650 syncros replacement!

So i have a 2002 mustang gt and my transmission has recently started grinding my 3rd gear and now it started to do it with my 4th gear so its time to replace them! Everyone tells me its going to be my syncros how can i be sure its the syncros? and around how much would a job like this cost (me taking the transmission myself) trying to get quotes thanks in advance guys

Minimally you will need a set of new synchro rings. You MAY need a 3-4 synchro hub assembly or even a third gear or input shaft/gear IF it has been scraping a lot.

Changing the first, second and reverse rings is not so easy but you should replace them all once it is open.
