Angry 2001 cobra harness in 04 gt

I have a 2001 cobra motor in 2004 gt. I am having a problem with the wiring harness. The engine has a cobra harness and the transmission has the gt harness. I can not figure out to plug the trans harness into the engine harness. The plug that the gt harness had is not on the cobra engine harness for the transmission to plug into.

The cobra had a T56 I believe, you have either a Tremec 3650 if manual or a 4R70W if Auto (which was not an option for the Cobra). I dont know how to remedy this issue, but I would start by trying to figure out which transmission you have and searching for using said transmission with a cobra engine!

A 2001 Cobra had the TR-3650 transmission (which is almost identical to the 2004 TR-3650...there were a couple revisions internally to the 2004 TR-3650 I believe). I cannot help any further but wanted to clear up the mis-information. I would assume you may need the Cobra harness plug in order to plug it in...Again, I really do not know how to solve your issue.

My bad I read that as 03 . JonR is correct. It may work to cut and splice the harness but I would NOT recommend doing that just as a test.
