$30 chips on ebay...good deal or good joke?
I'm brand new to the vast world of Mustangs and upgrading. I have an awesome 99 GT L.E. with a great aftermarket exhaust from headers to tips. I'm looking for bolt on accessories right now like cold air induction, throttle body, plugs/wires, and a chip. So I was looking on ebay for parts, however I recently was taken for $400 on ebay so wasn't excited about resorting to shopping there again. The one thing I noticed were the chips. They promise to give more horsepower, torque, and help regulate fuel for better economy.
And the price...$50 or less!!! Brand new with warranty!!!
As you all know about $150 less than retail.
Too good to be true? Let me know your thoughts.
Worst case senario...plug it in and the car fry's, right? :hihi:
