OK, I'm venturing outside of my comfort zone here. I'm wanting to upgrade from stock intake heads and cams. I talked to american muscle and they have the intake and cams but they don't have aftermarket heads. I'm thinking of the edlebrock intakestage 2 comp cams but that is as far as I have got. I have basic bolt ons and 4:10's. What are your guys thoughts? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

From what I have gathered on here and other forums is that the Stock PI Intake is pretty darn good. I would not change that out. There aren't many aftermarket heads but, if you go the Twisted Wedge heads by Trickflow for instance, it will be hard to maximize the gains from them with the stock rotating assembly. A forged crankshaft is a must in order to spin past 6k (which is where those heads will see the most gains) vs. porting your current heads..

I would go to Modular Head Shop and look at their head/cam combos for the 2V. They have a good reputation, at least on this forum. I hope someone with more knowledge and experience chimes in for you.
