98 Convertible has 2 body issues that I'm hoping you can help

There is the first picture where the running board along the passenger side is ok towards the front, then starts to gape in the middle, and then is tight again towards the rear. Pretty sure it's clips and I have tried to push it back it to snap into place, but no luck. (see photo)

The 2nd is my back end is ever so slightly off kilter. I don't know how it happened, but maybe I can tighten a certain bolt underneath the passenger side so it comes up even with the drivers side, but don't know how. Or maybe the passenger side looks fine, but the drivers side is too tight? It's just a hair off, but I'm an enthusiast and have kept this Mustang in pristine condition and am starting to notice these flaws. (see photo)

Any help is SERIOUSLY appreciated!

For the rocker panel, I would just remove it and see what's broken, then reinstall. Probably have to do the same for the bumper cover, although since it's a bit mpre work I would slide under the car and compare how the two sides are attached and try to see if you can tell what's different on the passenger side first. I'm not too familiar with how the back bumper attaches, but it looks like you'll have to remove the passenger side taillamp to get to how it attaches.

You got a fun little afternoon ahead of you for this stuff. My guess is these things probably just got bumped or screws backed out or something ksimple like that, but unfortunately the only way to figure it out is start taking stuff apart and see what's damaged or missing underneath.
