I've been reading the threads about CAI and have narrowed my search down to either the MAC CAI and the K&N FIPK. What would you recommend as the better choice for a 97 v6 stang and I would be looking at 5-9 hp gains. Don't remove the silencer, that worked with Fox-bodied cars, but with v6s, it defeats the purpose, because you suck in fan backwash. You actually make less power with the silencer removed.
Your best bets are a Demolet kit, or an FIPK II.
