What were the actual code numbers? PO171 & PO174? Which shows lean running on bank #1 & bank #2 ? That's not neccessarily O2's [I got those codes from "auto-zone" on my '95 convert]. My car ran fine with the light constantly on, so I didn't bother any further. I'm not saying this did it, but I went ahead and cleaned my mass air wire, installed an under drive pulley, made my own CAI Ram w/K&N filter and one month later [with regular everyday driving] the light just went off and hasn't come back on. I didn't investigate any further, 'cause if dat light ain't on, it ain't broke!!

'95, white convertable, auto trans, under drive pulley, cai, 3:73 gear. Just enough snap for a 62 year old kid! (my wife's a blond so the top MUST be down, or she won't get in!!)
