Well they used to work... back when we used cabs and not EFI... But now it will don may increase your MPG... But that is just because your loosing HP... See that will increase the velocity of the air coming into the engine.... but at the same time its allowing less air to come in... so you will lose power because the velocity that it creates is not enough to over come the restrictions
