MAC's Straight shot has an excellent design, and the question for me is whether or not the straight shot can overcome the heat soak.

most of the metal CAI's will only give you 2-3 hp over a drop in filter. Paying $100 extra dollars for 2-3 hp barely registers on the "bang for buck" meter.
