shinerstang is right, the union contracts is one of the main reasons Ford and GM are in trouble. As far as quality my 96 F250 looks and drives like it was new,never been back to the dealer for anything (knock on wood) and has over 100thousand miles on it, my 06 mustang seems to be built good also time will tell.
If a car line is not selling then dump it, the Fseries truck has always been Fords bread and butter,
