Hey DW - I bet that's not what you were wanting to hear!
Now's the time to start practicing your burnouts... that ought to relieve you of the burden of having so much rubber on the wheels!
On a serious note, you might consider getting some nice performance tires with the new rims and keeping the "stockers" as is. That way you'd have a good winter set and wouldn't be risking the chance of damaging your new showy rims.
Just a thought...
