Making sure i have all tools needed for the job

Im going to be doin a head cam intake swap and am going over all tools i will need. I came across a lifter remover and am not sure if i need it. Will the lifters slide out by hand or is this tool required?http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...115+4294855504

Also i cant find a balancer remover. Where can i get one, or rent one?

Help is greatly appreciated
