Question about a part

Im having trouble figuring out what the part is called that I need for both of my doors. !994 Mustang GT. The part that I need is an interior triangular piece that covers the side view mirror nuts. I need them for both drivers side and passenger side. Its not a vent window but goes in the spot a vent window would. Please help! Thanks

I know exactly what you're talking about. I believe it's called a "mirror hole cover". I'd try checking a local salvage yard or eBay. "Mirror trim panel cover" is also a good search term.

Good find! I'm going to bookmark that site for future reference.

Wait, why do both sides list the same part number (17K709)?

EDIT: I just spent a few minutes learning about Ford's engineering & part numbers. Interesting stuff. 17K709 is just a generic number for this type of part, and is used on other models too.

That's crazy, well at least now you definitely know what it is called!! Run by the dealership and you should be good to go!
