Oh, I didnt do the valve lash on this car. The previous owner did it and I dont think that he ever got the car to run right. Therefore, he sold the car. He did put a lot of money into the car and I was able to see price tags on everything. The whole interior is basically new and it has a TFS top-end kit along with an Eibach suspension kit. I am ready to start driving this thing! I think that I am going to make some head way on it soon...

Nice and clean man.Thats my favorite color on a Foxbody. Is that the original paint and is the paint color an oem Wild Strawberry Red or is it a newer paint job with a pearl or candy color?? I had a GT that was WSR,but the ground effects were Silver.A GT looks much better one solid color vs two tone, but its a matter of opinion I guess.I had Draglites on mine,it looked sweet.

Sharp car! Very classy.
How rough is it running? Will it make it to the store and back, or does it knock and stumbling and won't make it out of the drive? Doesn't it sound like it's fixing to fall apart (metal sounding sounds..) or it just has a hard time idling? The compression check is a good idea. I'd do that before tearing anything apart. This is just a suggestion, but maybe step back from it for a minute so you can regroup. I've gotten into "panic mode" before and I ended up fixing stuff that didn't need to be fixed and on occasion I've broken stuff that wasn't broken. If it were my car I would get the compression test done for peace of mind, but I bet you're ok unless it's blowing smoke n oil out of the tail. After that I would save money and get in touch w a dyno tuner. It will be a little expensivene, but I think that will be your best bet on getting it sorted out. Even if it's not "in the tune" they should be able to let you know what's wrong.
Is this your primary form of transportation?

I saw some "Electric Blue" in the door jamb. The car salesman said that was supposed to be OU Sooner crimson. The previous owner def spent more time and money on cosmetics than I would have, but it worked out in my favor!

This is actually my 3rd vehicle and my wife has a nice car also. I have my SUV for sale and someone is supposed to come have a look at it today. That would be my money for a dyno tune. It does not sound like it has major problems, just a lack of power and it wants to die at idle. It smells very rich like pure gas when I stop. When I drove it home from the car lot, my wife said that it was choking her. She was driving behind me. This really has not been driven much and I wanted to get everything figured out before I do drive it. The dyno tune is about 25 miles away and I am sure that it would make it there though. Thanks for talking...
