MSD Trigger with Terminator X Install Question

I installed a Holley Terminator X on my 88 Foxbody. I have a MSD 6AL 2 that I am looking for a good trigger wire that powers Crank/Run. The old engine harness has been removed so grabbing red/green in many locations is no longer a option. Essentially Red/Green at ignition switch no longer has a load on it. TFI, EEC Relay are gone and MSD powers coil. It's a dead wire with the new Terminator X harness.

Question: Can I safely tie Red/Green and Brown/Pink together at ignition switch, and use it as a MSD trigger wire?? Does the MSD trigger wire draw any current I need to be concerned about and if so what size fuse?

Thanks in advance for any info.
