1984 Mustang GT Convertible Carbon Fiber Seats

The interior needs work and I have been thinking of getting new front seats instead of repairing them. I have been looking at one place selling carbon fiber seats for a 1984 Mustang GT. Is it worth to get the carbon fiber seats rather then the traditional seats?

Depends on a few things are they lighter? Cause mine are actually heavier. Had I known I wouldnt have bought them. Another is mine are easy to scar the carbon fiber. You definetly dont want cf where you sit unless those seats are coated in resin.

Carbon fiber seats? They'd be uncomfortable too unless there's some padded cover on them too.
