I ask because I went with the AEM CAI and when I sit at a light I see the temp rise quickly due to the tube being metal. Ceramic might be the way to go for me.
Yup stock midpipe. Sooner or later ill swap it out for a lethal x/h pipe. When I find a good deal on one used or decide to buy it new well see.

In person it's more noticeable than on the IPhone camera but it has a nice deep tone through the rev range. the iphone isnt good at capturing depth.

It never sounds raspy and has a really nice rev up sound right when I hit the gas that it didn't have before like right when I go WOT it makes a really nice sound as it climbs up into the 2500 rpm range and blasts off, i dont know if you know what I'm talking about.

On the heat aspect ; Not really any difference. Car feels as strong in 115 degree weather as it used to in 80 degree weather before the shorties.
