With more and more 500 and 600 HP cars being produced, 400 HP (or 420) doesn't quite have the mystique it did just a couple of years ago. I'd like to see even more power on the GT. I don't want to get smoked by Mercedes/BMW/Jaguar/Aston Martin luxobarges, even if they have six-figure price tags.
Then again I'm afraid "affordable" V8 engines are almost a thing of the past. In 1991, a 5.0 V8 was roughly a $1000 option on my Thunderbird, and you could get it on the base car without any other packages or options. On most cars now, the V8 model is it's own trim line, costing many thousands more.
