Interesting article Don, thanks. I personally have achieved 36mgp at about 55-60 mph. 70mph will get me about 31mpg in good conditions. Then the mpgs begin to drop, 75-80mph will get me only about 26-27mpg. These #s are all on 2.73:1 rear gear, manual transmission. It seems to me that at 1800RMP and above the mpgs drop quickly. Can those with other rear gear ratio's attest to this?
