Front Struts a DIY Job?

I'm considering installing aftermarket shocks/struts, but have never changed struts before, only shocks. I know I'll need a spring compressor of some sort. Otherwise, is this a DIY job? I'm well equipped with tools and wrenching experience. Or, should I just take it somewhere, pay and wait.

Thinking about the Eibachs from AM, they seem like the only direct fit aftermarket unit for my otherwise stock 2012 V6. I don't want to lower it, just remove some of the extra bounce on large dips.
