I completely agree you. I'm not saying I agree with Ford's thinking. I'm just stating why they went with 2.73 gears.
Exactly how i felt after i bought my MT6 2.73. You have to wind the gears out to really see why you bought it. Anything below 4k rpms (like stated above) has little to no get up, after that it'll scream though. I do a mix of city/hwy, so my mpgs will go up with the 3.55s being installed at the end of this year, early next year. Plus my wife wants me to teach her how to drive it, i explained it would be much easier with steeper gears to learn how to drive.
