My MT82 was notchy in the earlier mileage, but has broken in nicely (@28K). I would recommend getting a shift bracket for aggressive shifting though. It's funny how folks say that the MT82 is the weak link, but then some high HP MT82 stangs are still running strong (10 Second MT82 5.0 for example).
