Everybody has their own thing; I can't stand cars with turn signals on the outside of the headlights; you can't stand unpainted plastic. Those things are easily changeable in the aftermarket.
I have a light car with them and I like them asthetically and from the practical standpoint that they are not chewed up from flying gravel like painted panels might be. After a wash and applying some 303 to them I think they enhance the car
There are also people who PLASTIDIP every part they can, others vinyl wrap their cars in flat black.
