Man, I am surprised how good the AT6 are compared to MT-82. My car was a consistent 12.9x when it was 100% stock including rims and tires with a best of 12.79. Now with just a tune I run a consistent 12.4x with a best time of 12.24 on 2 year old stock Pirelli tires. I always launch at 1200 rpms when the sun is still out but at night I will launch at idle.
Has there been any info of Ford getting rid of the MT-82 for 2015 Mustang?
Part of the problem with most tunes and stock on the MT82 is torque management. If you get sticky tires it will bog badly if you try to launch hard. That is part of the reason AED runs so good, they get rid of it.
I have to believe that it is nowhere near as aggressive on the A6.
