If you road race and do a lot of HPDEs and want to drive the snot out of it without caring about it or worrying about wrecking it, I would go either with 2011+ V6 or 2005-2010 GT. They are lighter and with better F/R weight distribution and more importantly LESS EXPENSIVE.
V6 gets better MPG too. The 2011+ V6 is one of the best performance for money in the RWD world! Yes it CORNERS very well for doubters.
I hope I did not come off as V6 is a better car than V8 performance wise, BUT V6 is the underdog that is an over achiever.
