I don't think so.
Shelby wasn't only known for big horsepower drag racers. The GT500 did a good job fulfilling its legacy and now a new GT350 will do the same. It's a different type of car with a different emphasis.
I would strongly consider a GT350 in a few years. Based on the recently posted videos, the supposed "R" models sounded absolutely fantastic too.
The old GT350 did well on road courses, better than the GT500. Ford is following suit with the new car. Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App
