Didn't see the Ecoboost but I did see a comparison between the 1LE Camaro and Mustang GT.
I'm not really surprised at the results either. In several prior comparisons the 1LE was found to be an average of about two seconds faster than the Boss 302 was on a number of track tests. No doubt that the 1LE is a great car.
The Camaro sounds a lot better than the Mustang too. Ford really needs to put better sounding mufflers on the Mustang. Why they never got a muffler closer to what the GT500s came with is beyond me. Even the 05-10s sounded better than anything from 2011 and up.
It was an interesting test of the 2015 Mustang GT(Performance Pack) and the 2015 Camaro SS1LE(Performance Pack). It definitely looks like the Camaro is a better performer on the road course track and the twisties. It takes a top driver, like Pobst, to get those kinds of track results, but the "twisty comments" all pointed to better driving in the Camaro.
