The autos stock are pretty weak when it comes to response and shifting. A tune turns it into a beast. It's a huge improvement for the performance oriented car owner. They have select and paddle shifters I think. Mine doesn't have that but it does have "hill assist" which makes it much more fun to drive but also drinks the gas more too. Not much beats good ole manual shifting though. From what I've read, everyone in the magazines says the new shifter feels really good. I wouldn't be afraid to buy one now
