As much as I love Boss 302's, for your purposes the 2016 GT PP is a much better fit. It's cozy (MUCH better interior than the previous gen), it has all the bells and whistles you'll get used to using, but it's just as effective as the Boss and can put power down when you need to, the Boss's are basically stripped down to be a road legal racecar. If you do get a Boss, at least go for a 2013, they added in a few things like Track Apps that they didn't have in 2012.
