TPMS Relearn Question
I have a 2014 Mustang GT/CS. I have upgraded the brakes with Ford Racing's M-2300-T Brembos package. I have installed a set of 2015 Ford OEM Trac Pack wheels which were take-offs. After the install I drove a few miles the TPMS fault warning came on. When I got home I checked the air pressures and one tire was several pounds low. I inflated it to the correct pressure and the warning went away. Thought I was good to go.
Today I was driving and at 15 miles the warning reappeared. I went to a tire store to have them balance the wheels and check the sensors. They said the sensors were showing the correct pressures but the computer was not able to recognize the sensors. They could not reprogram the computer to recognize the 2015 sensors. They said my Ford dealer had the equipment to do this.
Has anyone had this same problem or does anyone know if my Ford dealer can remedy the problem without me buying new 2014 sensors. I want to leave my CS wheels intact with the sensors.
Thanks in advance!
