Well its been almost a year since I started this thread. Been to the track three more times since then.

I think part of the problem is the track itself, its an old airport runway with a 200' improved launch pad, not an actual drag strip. There is also elevation, and heat. it's 2500-3000 feet and average temps on race day are from 75-90 degrees. Not making excuses, still have lots to learn.

So far I have made a personal best of 14.73 @ 93 MPH. .3 seconds off just by showing up, so with more practice it will get better. Unfortunatley on March 12th and 13th will be the last time that they will hold races at the current facility, and I really don't want to drive to Las Vegas to race.

My goal now is 14.50, and I will take it from there. Cheers to everyone for tips and pointers
