You log the tune for the tuner and he will tell you if you need a revision or not. If you add parts later on and need a revision your tuner will email you an updated tune. Some parts require it, some don't. Tune updates are usually free with the exception of something like cams, E85, or F/I.

What you seem to be having a hard time grasping is the front o2 sensors are now widebands and will adjust A/F and timing by themselves depending on weather or octane of gas you are running. They will also pull timing if knock is detected.

Technology has come a long way since the days of putting a chip in a fox body. It's time to accept it.
So there's no need for a megasquirt, quaterhorse, etc to record data? Just a hand held tuner/chip and you plug a laptop into the diagnostic port?

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
