Almost nobody does this stuff anymore, other than the cat overtemp protection being switched off when people remove catalytic converters from the car or switching off the rear O2s when they go with longtubes sometimes. Neither of these are a risk. People really understand what the oyote wants now. These statements are holdover thoughts from 2010 when some people were taking unsafe risks because they did not fundamentally understand the engine's needs and this cost some people some motors. You don't hear about motor blows anymore hardly at all becasue all the reputable tuners know their **** by now.
