Needing help with afetrmarket dvd
 
I installed a Legacy LD53M in my 2004 Mustang. For some reason when I turn on the lights, the screen displays a weird message " Back light". Can anyone help with this?

I had this happen with another brand - turns out it was sensing the need for it to use its "back light" function (I think it was intended to add contrast to counteract a wash out from too much direct sunlight).

The unit is bragging about what it is doing with the message. I don't think its an error or trouble code.

Just a guess - I am not intimately familiar with that particular unit.
