powering on the amp

i got a 06 GT and i wanted to hookup my old system to it and in my old car i got the amp power wire hooked up to a fuse rating 10 im not sure what it is because im not the one who did the installation. so my question is there a fuse in the mustang like that so i can just put the wire there or do i have to put it from the back of the shaker 500.

i dont exactly get what your saying... when hookin up an amp to a car...your power wire would run from your amp to your battery with a fuse in between the two. the only wires that would run from the amp to behind the headunit would be your rca's and remote wire.
