1996 Mustang convertible subwoofer location ideas?

Hey guys, I recently bought a 96 GT with the Mach 460 sound system. It sounds great... with the top up. When the top goes down, the bass goes with it. I thought that the mach 460 system was supposed to come with some subwoofers, maybe its different for convertibles, but there is nothing in the trunk. Either way, lucky for me, I have two 12" subwoofers and an amp. But my dilemma is that I have nowhere to put the subwoofers. I need my trunk space for my tonneau covers, so they cant go there. I would really like to put them underneath the back seats, but I don't know if that can be done. I'm open to anything at this point. Thanks guys.

Hey, thanks for the reply. But I really want to keep the stock look of it, is it possible to put the subwoofers under the seats? I am a pretty good craftsman, but I guess my ultimate question is: What is underneath the rear seats?
